Sd Controller Windows Recognizes SD Card Only After Reboot?

Windows Recognizes SD Card Only After Reboot? - sd controller

My laptop Windows Vista does not recognize and correctly read SD cards, if inserted after the reboot the system, but do nothing if the card is inserted, without rebooting. In this case, even as a unit to appear, and no exclamation marks in Device Manager on the USB driver.

Is there a simple way to solve this problem?

Behind this strange behavior is something that is similar to what I found in the past.

It is a USB Root Hub problem here is one possible solution:

Go to Start / Run (click on Start, then Run)

Type devmgmt.msc in the Open box, and click OK.

In the list, expand (with the plus sign in sight at all), should find the USB controllers section of (the last on the list).

Expand this section with the + sign, so you can see it all (if not already fully open).

They should add an entry (or multiple entry) for the USB Root Hub, click the right one is an all and select Uninstall, then restart your computer.

Windows should the driver automatically.

Hope this helps
